The Problem We Kept Seeing
South Africa is full of incredibly talented professionals-plumbers who can fix anything, electricians who take pride in their work, cleaners who treat your home like their own.
But here's what frustrated us: so many of these skilled people struggle to find consistent work. It's not because they're not good at what they do. It's because marketing is expensive. Advertising takes time. And when you're busy doing the actual work-the thing you're brilliant at-there's no time left to chase leads, manage social media, or figure out Google ads.
Meanwhile, customers are stuck calling around, asking friends for recommendations, and hoping the person who shows up is actually qualified.
Why We Built ProHelp
We wanted to create something simple: a place where talented Pros can be found by customers who need them, without needing a marketing budget or hours to spend on promotion.
ProHelp isn't about replacing the relationship between a Pro and their customer-it's about making that first connection happen. We verify that Pros are qualified, we make it easy for customers to request quotes, and then we step back and let the professionals do what they do best.
